Core exercise using the Swiss ball - Squat and row

Starting position

Finishing position

Equipment needed: Swiss ball, medicine ball and hard vertical surface.

Other main muscles used:

  • For squat – Upper legs, lower back and buttocks.
  • For row – Upper back, arms.

Technique: Rest ball on your upper back, feet shoulders width apart and slightly in front of your upper body.

Posture: Neutral spine, shoulders relaxed and chin parallel to the floor.
